Silver Craft - Pendant Making Workshop

PMC (precious metal clay) is an innovative pure silver in the form of clay which was developed by Mitsubishi Materials Corporation of Japan in the 1990's. It is composed of micron sized particles of precious metal, a non-toxic organic binder and water, and is available in fine .999 silver.  

Jewelery can be made with simple tools.  After fired in a kiln for 10 minutes and polished, 99.9% pure silver jewelery is ready to wear.

TheCore^© is a total body conditioning program which incorporates the essence of yoga and Sachi's kinesthetic principles of emphasising the importance of using the micro muscles to support the macro muscles of the body.

Instructor, Sachi Singh has been practicing yoga since 1981. He has been developing and teaching wellness and holistic yoga programs for over 13 years and has more than 20 years of yogic life expertise and experience. He brings both warmth and humor to teaching as well as well formed positive progression to students.     No matter what stage you are at, all you need is to bring along yourself & an open heart.

Calling all Young Artists!!
Here is your chance to show off your artistic talents!

We are looking for a group of creative young members to join a special art jam.   If you like to draw or paint, then come along with your favourite watercolours, crayons, pastels or colour markers for an informal painting get together at The Club.   The theme is - "Summertime" and all finished artwork will be displayed at Waves!

TaG Drama Workshops
Children who have been attending the TaG Drama Workshops on Wednesday and Friday afternoons will be presenting their Summer Showcase to parents and friends on Saturday 7 June and they are working very hard learning lines, poems and dance routines for what is always a very entertaining morning .  Their instructor, professional actress Suzy Sampson is in the thick of rehearsals preparing for her role as Lady Macbeth in the full scale production of Shakespeare's Macbeth to be staged at the Shouson Theatre in May. Children in the senior workshops have also been exploring and having fun with the 'challenging but beautiful' language of Shakespeare's time. The TaG Drama Workshops' aim is to extend the children creatively in all directions!

Drama Workshop
We all know the best way to learn a language is to use it.  In this new class starting in April, children will be encouraged to learn the lines of a story in each session, and then tell it back by playing a part.  In this way, full participation and team work are encouraged as children learn to speak in the most fun and natural way!

On the last session of each course, students will perform in an open class.  Parents are most welcome to attend!!

Mandarin for Beginners (Adults)
If you are fascinated by Chinese history and culture, or if your children are learning Mandarin and you would like to know what they are going through, this is the course for you to start.

The Club will be showing "The Last Mimzy" on Sunday, 18 May, and "Dora's Summer Explorer" on Sunday, 8 June 2008. Both films will be shown starting from 9:00 am in the Aerobics Room.
